Dark autumn shades dominate as BIAB outpaces press-ons in UK search

Autumn/winter colour direction is the week's loudest story, with four titles publishing trend round-ups in under a fortnight. Deep reds remain the celebrity anchor: both ELLE and Yahoo Life UK ran features identifying Anne Hathaway's exact 'Cherry Noir' polish ^[6][7], a useful hook for retailers merchandising dark cherry tones into Christmas.

The value and at-home story is equally strong. On YouTube, though, press-on tutorials drew 727,338 views across five recent videos ^[14], versus 23,562 for Beetles gel kit content ^[15] and just 1,778 for BIAB tutorials ^[16].
